Unfortunately, professional photo cameras, video camereas, and handbags are targeted by thieves at the wedding ceremony. For this reason, photographers, videographers and guests must be careful about security.

To avoid this problem, bride and groom must request the hotels for security persons at the gates. If they do not have or care for the security service, bride and groom better hire guards from other private security companies. It is safe to have the budget for security guards in addition to other expenses. Below records are collected from members to alert wedding couples and guests about thieves at every locations.

August 2007 / A message about thieves, from PPC Member

Last weekend I was working at Huntington Hyatt and
the video guys video equipment got stolen before the event even started.

Few months age one of the Photographers equipment got stolen
from the same hotel and there are some images that will shock
you were captured of the thieves posing as guests and covering
each other to pick up the video camera that was stolen.
The same thieves were captured on hotel surveillance
camera stealing photographers equipment at four seasons.
Look out for this 2 guys looks like they are hitting every where.
